Native Taboola Syndications

In order to help you target your customers with greater relevance and optimize your ad spend on Taboola, we have launched a native integration with Taboola. This will allow you to syndicate your first party customer data with your Taboola Ads account using email address as the customer identifier.

Additionally, since this is a native integration with Taboola, this feature will be available globally for all our customers.

Sinch SMS App

This is a native integration with Sinch which allows you to send SMS notifications via Sinch directly from Blueshift. We have made the following enhancements to the Sinch SMS app:

Improved Reporting: For easier tracking and monitoring, you will now receive delivered and bounced stats for any SMS sent via the Sinch app. Additionally, all the stats (sends, clicks, delivered, bounces) associated with your Sinch SMS campaign will now show up under the ‘SMS’ channel instead of the ‘Cloud App’ channel.

Subscription Management: For more flexibility, visibility, and targeting, we will automatically update a customer’s SMS subscription preferences when a customer opts out or in from your marketing campaigns by replying with keywords like: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, START etc. to Sinch. This information will be immediately reflected on the customer profile, and will also be available for segmentation, personalization and journey filtering.

Additional A/B Testing: For further optimization, you can now A/B test on the sender (virtual phone number or short code) for SMS sent via the Sinch app.

Sinch Instant Messaging App

For more reach across channels, we have added a Sinch Instant Messaging App to our App Hub. This is a cloud app which allows you to message your customers on different instant messaging platforms like Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram etc.  This app will show ‘send’ stats under the ‘Cloud App’ channel by default. You can additionally post back ‘open’ and ‘click’ events from Sinch to view all your campaign stats in one place.

CSV Adapters for Continuous Campaigns

The CSV adapter in Blueshift exports a message into a CSV file in your S3 bucket instead of actually sending it to the customer. Unlike cloud apps which send messages real time to a third party messaging service provider, the CSV app can be used for sending bulk messages, thereby avoiding rate limitations on the third party messaging  provider’s platform.

Until now CSV adapters were only available for one-time and recurring campaigns. With this enhancement, CSV adapters will be available for continuous i.e. segment triggered and event triggered campaigns as well. For one-time and recurring campaigns, the adapter will generate a single message file at the end of campaign execution. For continuous campaigns, the adapter will generate multiple message files, once every 30 mins or 10,000 messages (whichever happens sooner).

This app is available for use with email, push, and SMS channels. To learn more about the CSV via S3 app refer to this document for email, this document for push, and this document for SMS.

Group and Filter by Recommendation Blocks

We have enhanced our ‘Recommended Items’ Insights Reports to enable you to group and/or filter the results by recommendation block name. This feature will help you understand the performance of a recommendation scheme at the block level as well as compare the performance of one recommendation block to another.

Vertical Alignment in Visual Editor

When you use the Visual Editor for editing email or in-app messages, you will now be able to control the vertical alignment of items within a row. You will see three options (top aligned, center aligned and bottom aligned) for aligning content within a row, on the row configuration section on the left.
